New Armed Section in South Carolina

From left to right; Lt. J. Powers, Capt. K. Lemley, W. Stewart, Area Supervisor G. Herweg, J. Turnill (rear), Capt. J. parks, A. Levine, B. Merryman, D. Mellies, G. Favro and J. Murphy.
Ever innovative and growing, Region 5 announces the newest operation in South Carolina. The armed section of our South Carolina operations got off to a great start with a client sponsored "Meet and Greet" with the new armed officers. Each officer of the armed operation had to pass the normal background, but had to go a little further. To become an armed officer with this section, officers had to have experience, education and a good physical presence. Each officer that was chosen for this group had to have at least 2 years of law enforcement, a B.S. in a related field or 5 years military experience. In addition, each officer had to pass a physical fitness test which included a 1.5 mile timed run, weight and height requirements, and other physical challenges like timed push ups and sit ups.  The elite group is going to help us not only provide a better service to our clients, but it is a reflection of the quality and service that Yale Enforcement Services can provide.
