Rank Advancement Training Now On-Line

Rank advancement training is now available on-line. Starting today, persons eligible to be promoted to the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain will now be required to watch training videos and take a test. Employees that have met the prerequisites for rank advancement, including service time requirements, will be sent an email letter informing them that they can now take this training and that the module is available. Upon successful completion of the module, a certificate will be issued. The actual promotion, however, will not take place until the quarterly promotions are announced. With the announcement of the on-line rank advancement training, Yale's computer based training site now has 29 different modules with over 100 videos.
