I would like recognize Steve Michael as our Officer of the Month for June. Officer Michael is a Flex officer, but stepped in and helped us out in a time of need to temporarily fill in as a Supervisor at a busy hospital. What we anticipated to last only a couple weeks, ended up lasting a couple of months and Steve continued to take charge of the facility during that time as if it were his own. He was instrumental in getting our new IRP program set up and implemented for the location, as well as trained all of the officers and the new Supervisor that is now in place. Since resuming his Flex position, Officer Michael has been sent all over the place and he is always willing to go wherever and do whatever is needed, often responding with only a moments notice. He is currently getting processed and trained at all of our local hospitals and due to changes in their policy, every facility is now requiring their own PPD and health screenings so he has endured being stuck with needles over and over and over, without any complaints. Officer Michael is a real trooper, a dedicated officer and someone we are proud to call our own.
